Murderer

A storm awoke,
All the grass uprooted,
trees bent and broke.
Sky shone with startling thunder,
and in this wildly confusing chaos,
she came, to claim her plunder.

Her hair blowing most violently,
like a thousand snakes in the wind.
Her shirt, her skirt fluttered,
like a pirate’s flag at sea,
and as polished granite, shone her bare skin.

She walked to me and stood abreast,
wickedly smiled and gazed in my eyes.
Ohhhh her eyes, where she tamed those fatal tornadoes,
that brought to their knees, the toughest of foes.

Then she kept her warm hand,
on the left side of my chest,
and then she came nearer and whispered.

“Die…..”

With that her hand went through my skin, my ribs,
it reached my heart and held it,
then she pulled it out, bit by bit.
When she got it out, she kissed me,
stepped back and pushed me to fall.

I fell. Lost, hypnotized, captivated by her,
looted, snatched, robbed off my throbbing heart,
I fell and I lay unmoved on the grass.

I know I exaggerate her grand entry,
but this was just the impact she had on me.
Later I tried to talk, to interact,
but she was too cold, uninterested to be exact.
Or maybe she saw in me, some repelling lack.

But thank God it was just euphoric infatuation,
and not deep, entrapping, irreversible love,
and so in a month or so, I got up, stood again
And not long after, I grew my heart back.
